Quality Assurance Technologist
The position will be based in Lloydminster, AB working closely with all facilities and management. The position will encompass all aspects of QA, including internal reviews and audits, regulation compliance, coordination with vendors for service and maintenance, as well as policy and procedure oversight and development.
Requirements for interested applicants:
● Post- graduate education, training or experience in diagnostic imaging and membership (or eligibility) with CAMRT and/or Sonography Canada or equivalent.
● Active registration or willing to obtain registration through provincial licensing body
● Experience in the field of Quality Assurance considered an asset
● Knowledge of medical terminology, as well as networking and PC based equipment
● Strong problem-solving skills and analytical troubleshooting skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical end-users
● The ability to take instruction, while working independently and in a team setting
Duties will include, but not limited to:
● Assist service with base level troubleshooting for support/maintenance of medical equipment to ensure safety and reliability
● Involvement with service during equipment assembly/installation/repairs/maintenance and calibrations.
● Coordinate Preventative Maintenance schedules for machines
● Provide base level technical support of medical equipment and clinical systems for staff
● Perform Quality Assurance testing on machines and ensure compliance to accreditation specifications and standards
● Monitor daily workflow of RIS/PACS systems to ensure completeness and accuracy
